Dog Care Volunteering
When you volunteer with Legacy of Hope Dog Rescue,
you are giving the animals what they want and need most:
personal attention, hands-on care, love, and time.
Volunteering can be any amount of time. An hour, a day, a week or whatever amount of time you can offer.
In addition, thru volunteering you are saving homeless pets.
Whether you volunteer for a day, a week or longer, the animals at the rescues truly appreciate the time you spend with them.
Animal Care activities include
Puppy socialization
dog walking
feeding
grooming
cleaning animal areas
car rides
outings to local stores
sleepovers
All of these activities allow us to care for the dogs and helps make them more adoptable.
which help prepare them for their forever home. All of these volunteer activities are very important for our animals and we appreciate you coming to the sanctuary and pitching in!
Volunteers are welcome to volunteer in one or more of our animal areas at Best Friends. To learn more about each of these areas, please click on the animal areas in the column on the left of the page.
